Implementation Approach

We recommend to our clients that in planning the implementation of the quicklive lifetime solution that the following steps are taken:

  • To hold an initial review meeting to understand the business requirements for the eCommerce platform and develop a broad understanding of the functions and features required. This will provide the baseline set of requirements.
  • To conduct a requirements analysis workshop to understand the next level of detail to be able to match against the standard capability of the QuickLive Lifetime platform. A gap analysis will identify whether SaaS Standard or SaaS Premium is required.
  • If the business requirements match the standard platform functionality, then we can enter development immediately, starting with the page layout and design. Alternatively if new customisation is required we will enter a short discovery phase and produce a detailed functional specification.
  • Once design has been agreed we will issue access to the content management system and provide training. This gives early access to the system so that content managers can begin to migrate content to run in parallel with the development.
  • Access to the development environment is provided to our customers so that they can review progress and provide feedback as we go.
